We have joined forces with virtuoso ensemble The April Verch Band from Ottawa Valley Canada, led by the superb fiddle player, singer, dancer and songwriter April Verch. Our joint venture is called The Heritage Projekt and this summer will mark our first tour together, beginning at Kaustinen Folk Music Festival in Finland (12-13.07) https://kaustinen.net/in-english/ and continuing in Estonia with performances at Luke manor (17.07), Hiiu Folk festival (20.07), Kirsi talu (21.07), Treski Küün (23.07), Kalju-lava (24.07) and Viljandi Folk Music Festival (26.07 and 28.07). At our concert you can hear a combination of traditional music from the Estonian and Canadian musical heritage, in addition we will also perform some original music and well-known tunes from the Curly Strings repertoire.
